Kimi K3 now runs inside Codex through an OAuth proxy and existing subscriptions

Kimi K3 can now be used inside Codex through an existing subscription, rather than forcing users to switch tools.
The setup uses opencodex, a local proxy that sits between Codex and more than 40 providers. It supports OAuth login for Kimi, Anthropic, and xAI, auto-refreshes tokens, and exposes K3 in Codex’s model picker with reasoning controls.
The poster’s main point: if you already pay for a model subscription, you can now bring it into the environment where you actually work.
