A small leak ballooned into 108GB under sustained volume creation

A small leak ballooned into 108GB after sustained volume creation at roughly 50–70 events, apparently because the system’s volume creation-date histogram testing let the bug grow unchecked.
The image also suggests a one-line fix: add something to the container path, which would have prevented the leak from compounding so badly.
