Vibe Coding a Tree Planting Tracker
hudzah · x · 2026-07-20
A tree planter used "vibe coding" to build a website tracking his tree planting work in wildfire-affected forests in British Columbia, Canada. Initially started as a simple log, the site has recorded the planting progress of 400,000 trees over the past year.
The screenshot showcases his custom Xavier's Tree Planting Tracker, which features tree logs, posts, statistics pages, and planting data curves filterable by location.
