MARHE Unveils World's Smallest Micro Frameless Torque Motor
机器之心 · wechat · 2026-07-20
At WAIC, MARHE released the world's smallest HummingDrive series micro frameless torque motor, designed specifically for high power density scenarios. The motor features an outer diameter of only 9.9mm–20mm, a minimum weight of 3.5g, and a maximum peak torque of 12.33mNm.
The product utilizes jointly developed ultra-high-performance rare earth permanent magnet materials and a Halbach topology, overcoming four core technical barriers: precision forming of ultra-thin magnetic tiles and multi-directional synchronous magnetization at extremely small inner diameters. Aimed at solving the direct drive unit's need for "smaller volume, higher torque", the motor provides a lightweight and efficient power source for humanoid robot dexterous hands, grippers, surgical robots, and precision medical equipment.
