markjeffrey · x · 2026-07-20
Analysis points out that if Moonshot AI goes public at a roughly $30 billion valuation, it could disrupt Anthropic and OpenAI's plans to sprint towards a $1 trillion valuation. Valuations are forward-looking; when the market offers competing models with equivalent capabilities at extremely low prices, US labs will be forced to cut prices or lose customers, thereby damaging their expected ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue).
