Due to a massive spike in traffic over the past 48 hours, Kimi K3 is nearing its current compute capacity limits. To ensure a smooth experience for existing subscribers, the team has temporarily paused new subscriptions and is prioritizing compute for current members.
Kimi plans to reopen subscriptions in batches once additional capacity comes online. The membership will also be split into two more focused plans:
- Kimi Membership: For Kimi Web, App, and Work
- Kimi Code Membership: Tailored for coding workflows
The team explained that this restructuring allows for more precise compute allocation and helps maintain overall service stability.
