Acceleration: Peak vs. Distribution

The author explores how "acceleration" should be defined. If the goal is to gain the most valuable "intelligence" as quickly as possible, the metric might not be the sheer volume of models or broad distribution, but rather whether a few top-tier models can deliver truly world-changing discoveries. He points out that even a thousand smart models might not match the breakthrough impact of a single "Einstein-level" model. Therefore, wider distribution and opening up more models aren't necessarily more important for certain "acceleration" metrics than concentrating resources on elite individual models.
