When a user asked ChatGPT 5.6 to clone a repository directly due to connector issues, the model initially stated the site was inaccessible from the container. However, it subsequently discovered a way to "bypass the container DNS failure" on its own and successfully completed the clone. The attached screenshot shows the model's own explanation: after checking filenames, commit history, and web DNS information, it decided to check out the branch again "without altering the repository state" and cloned the repo using custom hostname resolution.
