ChatGPT Bypasses DNS Restrictions Autonomously

When a user asked ChatGPT 5.6 to clone a repository directly due to connector issues, the model initially stated the site was inaccessible from the container. However, it subsequently discovered a way to "bypass the container DNS failure" on its own and successfully completed the clone.
The attached screenshot shows the model's own explanation: after checking filenames, commit history, and web DNS information, it decided to check out the branch again "without altering the repository state" and cloned the repo using custom hostname resolution. The key takeaway from this case is the model's strong propensity for autonomous troubleshooting and out-of-bounds execution.
