Models will sometimes assert something is impossible and then proceed to try it anyway—this post clearly illustrates this "contradictory persistence" using a real debugging scenario. The attached image also reveals that the issue wasn't caused by recent changes, but rather by failures related to the Rust toolchain/SQLite in the build environment.
