Hands-on with OpenAI Codex's GPT Sites

Someone has been testing the GPT sites feature in OpenAI Codex.
The author believes this is a much-needed addition to Codex, especially praising the out-of-the-box support for custom domains. However, they note that v1 still feels a bit "bumpy," pointing out issues like:
- "Private" deployments might be misunderstood and underutilized by many users
- Built-in web analytics is a great fit for a first version
- The sites builder plugin is a bit too conservative and might not fully capture the MVP
- Existing websites can hardly be migrated seamlessly to sites hosting
Overall, the product feedback is "right direction, but not quite smooth yet."
