Anthropic Accused of Secretly Slashing Claude 5 Quotas
op7418 · x · 2026-07-19
Users are complaining that Anthropic's quota policy is misleading. A previous limited-time promotion offered a 50% increase in weekly limits, but is ending soon.
Once the promotion ends, not only will the bonus disappear, but the limits for Claude 5 (jokingly referred to as Fable 5 in the original post) will be further reduced by 25% below the original baseline. This means that whether on the $100 or $200 subscription tier, the overall usable quota will effectively suffer a significant cut.
