Budget Debugging Falls Short Compared to Claude Code

To save money, the author switched the fan-out debugging for large-scale AWS PRs from Claude Code to Codex + GPT 5.6 Sol, but the experience was underwhelming.
The conclusion is straightforward: although cheaper, the Codex/GPT combo is far less capable than Claude Code when it comes to parallel expansion troubleshooting and workflow orchestration.
