AlphaFold3 Maps Over a Million Protein Interactions

This new preprint combines pooled-AlphaFold3 with functional genomics to map approximately 1.3 million protein interactions within a mycobacterial proteome.
The authors claim that this approach not only helps infer the functions of numerous essential genes but also provides a scalable framework for systematically deciphering bacterial biology.
