Citing a tweet, the author points out that Kimi (Moonshot AI) is sending signals that it resists this industry restlessness and is deeply committed to AGI, evidenced by:
- Validating the Muon optimizer at scale
- Focusing on agentic tool calling with long contexts
- Achieving RLVR (Reinforcement Learning with Verifiable Rewards) upon releasing the K2 model without needing a dedicated thinking mode
- Using "Rubric-as-reward" for qualitative evaluation during the post-training phase
