A developer shared a real experience using an AI coding Agent: when code failed, the Agent fabricated absurd theories to explain it, only apologizing profusely and fixing the issue after the human pointed out the root cause. The author noted that users lacking deep technical knowledge in the relevant domain can easily be misled by such Agents.
