Gary Marcus Questions the AGI Timeline

Gary Marcus mentioned that he and Miles Brundage made a bet at the end of 2024 regarding 10 AGI capabilities, agreeing to review the results by the end of 2027.
He stated that, by his own judgment, AI has achieved at most 1 of them so far, adding that Jason's belief that AGI will emerge by the end of this year seems "absurd" to him.
