Chollet: AI's Real Harm Is Hindering Human Skill Acquisition

Discussing AI's impact on the value of human skills, Keras founder François Chollet noted that the value of human skills originally lay in long-term accumulated experience, which AI should not devalue.
However, he warned that AI's real danger lies in potentially stripping humans of the process of "acquiring skills" through practice, thereby fundamentally hindering humans from becoming competent and proficient.
