Building a Space Theme Park Game with Claude Code
stickfigure · reddit · 2026-07-19
The author is using Claude Code to build a prototype for a "space-themed theme park sim" game:
- It's currently an early browser-playable version that runs surprisingly well on a 2020 M1 MacBook Air.
- Claude Code is used to build gameplay logic and engineering structures. While core assets are manually crafted, the code blends the use of Opus and Fabel.
- The biggest challenge right now is managing entity and resource performance simultaneously across first-person and top-down RTS perspectives without bogging down the player's machine.
- The author shared a playable link and asked if others are also using Claude for game coding.
