Open-Source AI Canvas Integrates 3D Composition and Image-to-Video Workflows
Horror_Dirt6176 · reddit · 2026-07-18
Introduces an open-source infinite AI canvas project designed to consolidate multi-step image-to-video experiments into a single reusable workflow.
Core Workflow:
- Built-in 3D director tool for scene blocking (including characters, poses, camera angles, and simple geometry).
- Feeds the composition into an image generation node.
- Reuses the results as reference images or the first/last frames of a video.
- All intermediate results stay connected on the same canvas, supporting browser archiving or JSON export.
Supported Models & Limitations:
- Images: GPT Image, Nano Banana, Seedream, etc.
- Videos: Kling, Seedance, Veo, etc.
- Note: The app itself is open-source under the MIT license and self-hostable, but the models rely on the paid SJolt cloud API and do not support purely local inference.
