Repurposing Temporal Priors from Video Models
mangahomanga · x · 2026-07-18
The author explains the intuition behind their approach:
- Pre-trained video models already possess temporal priors regarding "how interactions unfold."
- They build upon TrackCraft3r, a dense 3D tracker based on Wan2.1.
- The objective isn't to train a completely new model from scratch, but to reuse existing temporal modeling capabilities and adapt them to "predict future 3D motion."
