Elicit Enters Pharma Early R&D Workflows
elicitorg · x · 2026-07-18
Elicit shared a real-world pharma R&D implementation case: human and veterinary drug company Orion Pharma has been using Elicit continuously over the past year, starting with Reports and Systematic Literature Reviews, and later expanding to the newly launched Research Agent.
Orion's ML/AI Scientist stated that Elicit is used to search, aggregate, extract, and interpret vast amounts of scientific literature. Work that previously required reading paper by paper can now be completed in a fraction of the time. As a result, the team can evaluate more targets with the same headcount and complete each assessment earlier.
The focus of this case isn't a single specific feature, but how Elicit integrates into the pharma early discovery workflow to handle highly repetitive literature curation and analysis.
