ModelBest stated that in the latest batch of registered generative AI services announced on July 15, seven on-device AI products for smartphones, including Samsung Galaxy AI, passed the filing. ModelBest's MiniCPM series participated in this deployment as the on-device model capability provider.
The article also mentioned that ModelBest's previous on-device models have already entered the smart cabins of vehicles like the Geely Galaxy M9 and Changan Mazda EZ-60, expanding into embodied intelligence and aerospace scenarios. Officially, the open-source MiniCPM models have surpassed 38 million cumulative downloads, covering full-modal on-device models across text, vision, and voice. Its "Density Law" approach focuses on running large models more efficiently on phones, cars, and other terminals. The partnership with Samsung is seen as a major step into the ranks of top global smartphone manufacturers.
