Claude Code Artifacts Are Now Interactive
新智元 · wechat · 2026-07-17
Anthropic has added an MCP connector to Claude Code's Artifacts. Generated pages are no longer just static dashboards; they can now pull real-time data on demand and execute actions during viewing. Furthermore, different viewers will see different content based on their individual account permissions.
The article highlights the resulting workflow upgrade: an Artifact can evolve from a "dynamic page" into an "actionable interface." Operations like querying databases, checking monitors, sending Slack messages, or updating issues can be attached as buttons, all while retaining authorization controls, intra-org sharing, and admin permissions. The author believes this signifies AI transitioning from "generating content" to "generating software."
