Claude Code GitHub Issues Overwhelmed by AI Slop
teropa · x · 2026-07-17
Developers are complaining that the GitHub issue tracker for Claude Code currently feels "cursed." It is bogged down by a massive 11,000 unresolved open issues, the vast majority of which are invalid, model-generated junk content (model slop). This chaotic situation has deeply buried genuinely valuable bug reports (for instance, the Fable ask question tool being broken for weeks), making it incredibly difficult for developers to track the actual status and fix progress of relevant issues.
