Why FDEs Make a Fortune in the AI Era

FDEs are viewed as extremely scarce talent because they perfectly combine two traits: being technically rigorous "great engineers" while possessing the "business communication skills" to interact directly with clients. The high barrier to entry for this hybrid skillset is the main reason the role is so lucrative.
