bigaiguy · x · 2026-07-17
Hermes Agent can now run as a browser sidebar called the Hermes Browser Extension.
- It pins a live agent session to the right side of any webpage, reading the current page content and answering related questions.
- Capabilities include: page summarization, explanation, and action item extraction.
- A full runtime is also provided: tools, skills, sessions, and memory.
- It can connect to a local gateway, Hermes Cloud, or a self-hosted server.
- Supports Chromium browsers like Chrome, Edge, and Brave.
- The project is free and open-source.
