Xynova announced the completion of a 500 million yuan Series A+ funding round, led by Meituan with participation from NIO Capital, China Merchants Capital, and an undisclosed internet giant, while Xiaomi's strategic investment arm continued to invest. To date, the company has raised a total of approximately 1.5 billion yuan, securing its status as a unicorn.
Founded in late 2024, the company positions itself as a full-stack solution provider for general dexterous manipulation, emphasizing an integrated design from perception and decision-making to execution. In May 2026, it released the world's first "tendon + direct motor drive" hybrid-driven dexterous hand, the XynovaFlex2. Weighing around 400g, it features 23 degrees of freedom (19 active + 4 passive) alongside enhanced output and responsiveness.
The article also highlights engineering and mass production progress: core components like the 8mm brushless hollow cup motor, 7mm planetary roller screw, and micro electric cylinder are all self-developed and produced. A production facility of about 5,400 square meters has been established in Hangzhou, with an expected capacity of 10,000 dexterous hands and 200,000 micro electric cylinders annually by the end of 2026.
