TSMC Earnings Hint at $200B Revenue by 2026, Advanced Packaging is the Bottleneck

tengyanAI · x · 2026-07-17

TSMC's latest earnings guidance implies strong growth momentum: 2025 revenue is projected at around $122 billion, with a "slightly above 40%" growth rate in 2026, reaching over $171 billion. Based on this, Q4 revenue will approach $50 billion, bringing the year-end annualized run rate to roughly $200 billion. Additionally, capital expenditure over the next three years will be "significantly higher" than before.

Core Bottleneck Shift: TSMC explicitly stated that current advanced packaging capacity is incredibly tight, directly restricting customer growth. This indicates that the biggest limiting factor in the AI compute supply chain has shifted from wafer manufacturing to advanced packaging.
