Rapidus 2nm Wafer Pricing Revealed
Beth_Kindig · x · 2026-07-17
Japanese chipmaker Rapidus is reportedly offering 2nm capacity at a price of roughly $18,550–$21,635 per wafer.
This is described as significantly lower than TSMC's rumored $30,000 per wafer and roughly on par with Samsung's pricing. Mass production ramp-up is slated for 2H 2027. This is a crucial signal for advanced process capacity supply, the AI chip supply chain, and future foundry pricing competition.
