GPT Sol Helps Finish Old Robot Model
Kyrannio · x · 2026-07-17
The author handed over Omnitron, a robot model they built a few years ago, to GPT Sol for further refinement, including:
- Binding skeletons and rigging
- Adding paint variation options
- Generating a set of ASCII emoticons and visemes
- Setting up tiled texture movement on the tracks
He mentioned that the model originally only had a static face screen and was never fully rigged. Now, with AI assistance, it looks really cool, though it still requires some manual guidance.
