ReactBench: A New Benchmark for Evaluating AI Coding Agents

aidenybai · x · 2026-07-17

The Million.js team has launched ReactBench, a benchmark specifically designed to evaluate the performance of coding agents in real-world React development.

Developers noted that while current AI coding assistants can quickly generate runnable frontend code, they perform poorly in optimization, often writing subpar useEffect hooks that cause memory leaks or UI lag. This benchmark aims to push models to improve the underlying execution details and overall quality of frontend code.
