mimic Launches M1 Dexterous Hand Optimized for AI

mimicrobotics has released the fully in-house developed dexterous hand hardware M1 and the wearable device U1, aiming to solve the challenge of large-scale general-purpose dexterous manipulation.
Designed specifically to maximize AI policy performance, the hardware features high rear-drive capabilities and tendon-driven characteristics. It covers the full spectrum of human capabilities, from heavy payload handling to fine manipulation, providing ideal support for running highly clean and reproducible AI model evaluations and deployments.
