Mimic Unveils Dexterous Hand and Wearable Device

Mimic Robotics showcased a new direction in dexterous manipulation, with the author describing the demos as "stunning."
In the cited post, Mimic announced two new hardware products:
- M1: A highly backdrivable, tendon-driven robotic hand covering the "full range of human capabilities," from heavy-duty to fine manipulation.
- U1: A wearable device designed to complement dexterous manipulation control.
The company emphasized that it has focused on general dexterous manipulation from day one. To solve this at scale, they believe a "full-stack physical AI" approach is necessary, building every layer of technology around the human hand in-house.
