Four Open-Source Models Tested as Browser Agents

thisguyknowsai · x · 2026-07-16

The author fed the same prompt to 4 open-source models: GLM 5.2, DeepSeek V4, Kimi K2.6, Qwen 3.7, tasking them to browse their YouTube, LinkedIn, and X profiles, infer identity, and generate a portfolio website.

The test ran in parallel on Airtable's new Hyperagent: each agent had its own cloud machine and real browser, so they actually read the author's data. The author highlights that cost and runtime per run are visible for easy comparison. Results differed from expectations; full comparison in video, prompt in reply.
