Claude Code Adds Support for MCP Connectors
daniel_mac8 · x · 2026-07-16
This post highlights a new capability of Claude Code artifacts: the ability to invoke MCP connectors.
Examples provided include:
- Using a single prompt to instruct Claude Code to organize podcast highlights from an Obsidian vault and automatically generate a newsletter page
- The page can pull data in real time via its own connector
- The entire process requires no separate backend or extensive coding between "data" and "page"
The author views this as an early prototype of the "agentic web": pages are no longer just static displays, but interactive layers that can fetch data and perform actions on demand.
