Study: 2-Choice Tasks Underestimate Accuracy, Confidence, and RT Links

A recent preprint study explores why accuracy, confidence, and reaction time (RT) often show only moderate correlations in standard lab tasks. The study finds that the natural association between these variables heavily depends on the number of available options, and traditional "2-choice" tasks severely underestimate their true relationship.
