The core concept involves a spherical inversion of the 3D space. Unlike traditional little-planet or glass-ball effects that map scenes inside a sphere, this technique folds the entire space inward. This allows for a seamless 360-degree view within a sphere, creating a visual effect where the scenery appears to stretch infinitely into the distance.
