OpenAI Launches Codex Micro Hardware

OpenAI has partnered with @worklouder to release its first hardware, the kbd-1.0-codex-micro, priced at $230.
This is a desktop controller featuring 6 semi-transparent keys and a joystick that can be mapped to common workflows like PR review, debugging, and code refactoring. Additionally, it provides dedicated controls for accepting, rejecting, push-to-talk, and starting new chats, along with a knob to adjust the reasoning level. The device connects via Bluetooth or USB-C and supports both Mac and Windows.
