Weco AI Demonstrates Recursive Self-Improvement

This post introduces a newly released "recursive self-improvement" workflow by Weco AI: an outer loop rewrites the research agent's code, runs tests to validate the changes, and only keeps versions that perform better.
The post also explains the concept of RSI (Recursive Self-Improvement):
- An AI system first upgrades the tools, code, or prompts that drive it
- It then leverages these upgrades for the next round of improvements
- These results, in turn, enhance the system's ability to continue improving
A general flowchart in the original text illustrates this mechanism: one agent executes a task while another evaluates it using hidden scoring criteria, suggests modifications, and then re-executes and compares the results.
