LLM Coding Agents Need a Stronger Focus on TDD
GregKamradt · x · 2026-07-16
The author argues that the adoption rate of Test-Driven Development (TDD) within the current LLM coding agent ecosystem is still too low.
They add that as "vibe coding" makes underlying processes increasingly opaque, TDD is likely to regain importance. Combined with safe branching and easier-to-set-up development environments, TDD can make agent programming much more controllable.
