Kilo Code Acquired by Anaconda
TheOyinbooke · x · 2026-07-15
The team behind Kilo Code announced they have been acquired by Anaconda.
Over 16 months, Kilo Code grew its agentic engineering platform from scratch into an open-source community of 3 million developers. By joining Anaconda, they aim to leverage its infrastructure to cover a more complete AI-native development lifecycle.
The original poster noted that Kilo Code was one of the few VSCode extensions that actually fixed critical bugs in their projects, though they have since shifted to other harnesses for daily development.
