Rime Enhances Voice AI with a Physical Recording Studio

The author highlighted that Rime built a recording studio to improve its voice AI—an effort that might not "look like AI," but is incredibly important.
The core reason is that better phone agents require natural conversational data, including spontaneous interruptions, laughter, pauses, and various vocal fillers. If the training data is too clean, the model actually performs worse on real phone calls. Essentially, the model's performance improves alongside the amount of "real rooms" it has heard.
