A Firecracker-based platform says it can host 6,000 AI agents on one 256 GB server

A developer says they built a platform that can run up to 6,000 AI agents on a single 256 GB server, with more than 250 concurrent agents.
The key idea is to keep agents isolated with Firecracker microVMs while only allocating resources when an agent is active. Sleeping agents can wake on demand, which the author says lets thousands of personal or business agents share the same machine without sacrificing isolation. They claim the hosting cost works out to about $0.001 per agent per month and invite people to challenge the architecture and numbers.
