ChatGPT macOS App Redesign Slashes Navigation Efficiency

Users are strongly complaining that the latest redesign of the ChatGPT macOS client has severely impacted daily efficiency. Conversation and search history, previously located in the sidebar, is now hidden at the bottom, requiring multiple extra clicks to switch between chats frequently.
Furthermore, the app still lacks keyboard-first shortcuts (like pressing / to search directly), forcing keyboard-reliant users to constantly switch to the trackpad and turning an otherwise efficient experience into a cumbersome one.
