The a16z AI Policy Brief released a conversation on AI copyright. Guest Derek Slater pointed out that the principle of "fair use" in copyright law does not conflict with the normal functioning of markets. Reviewing the history of technological development, he argued that reasonable limits on copyright have consistently helped foster new products, new business models, and new revenue streams.
