WisprFlow has launched a new screen-aware dictation feature.
- The app already featured highly responsive speech-to-text capabilities, boasting an official latency of around 450ms.
- The new feature uses on-screen content as context to aid dictation: for example, it can auto-generate prompts in Claude Code or draft email replies in Gmail matching your personal tone.
- The reshared post noted that while these interactions could technically be achieved using simpler keyboard shortcuts, the original update primarily focused on showcasing the new product capabilities and demos.
