Agents Can Now Self-Switch Models

The author showcased a new trick in a multi-agent system running via tmux:
- An agent can actively send a /model command by writing to its own window, switching itself to a stronger or faster model.
- If it determines an "upshift" is needed, it first requests human approval via Telegram.
- The practical result: a lightweight model can handle the initial concept, and a stronger model can take over once task complexity increases.
The author believes this concept can be expanded to more model tiers but cautions that certain scenarios require care, such as not granting open permissions blindly.
