ChatGPT Mac App Loses Chat History After Update

Reddit users reported that after upgrading to Chat Work on the ChatGPT Mac desktop app, their original chat history and projects "disappeared" from the sidebar.
One user noted that the web version and mobile app still display the history normally; only the desktop client is affected. Currently, they can only retrieve content by searching for the exact chat name and are asking if there is a way to make old chats reappear on the desktop app.
