AI-Generated Compute is Not Exogenous Growth

The author offers an initial take: under reasonable models, training compute generated by AI should not be treated as an exogenous variable. In other words, if AI is involved in manufacturing the GPUs needed for the next wave of training, that compute growth is already embedded within the system and cannot simply be treated as natural external growth.
