Agents Are Starting to Take Over Code Reviews

craigsdennis · x · 2026-07-15

A reshared post highlights a new feature in Entire where agents review every code change. They generate a severity-ranked list of issues, track them until resolved, and even auto-patch them in some cases.

Merge permissions are then dictated by gate rules: high-risk changes are blocked. If manual oversight is desired, a "requires peer approval" rule can act as an additional gate. The post concludes that dev teams should first define what constitutes "ready to ship" and let the system enforce it.
